How fibre installation works

There are two parts to getting fibre into your home or business.

The first part is the network build. Rural Fibre Co designs and builds the fibre in your street and brings it to the edge of your property. This may involve civil works, pits, ducts or lead-in conduits. Once your address is ready, it becomes available for service.

The second part is your service installation. This is arranged through Splice when you place an order. A technician visits your property to run the final fibre into your home and install the required equipment. Splice will give you the appointment details and let you know what to expect on the day.

Rural Fibre Co maintains the network and the fibre pathway to your property. Splice looks after the installation booking, your plan, your modem and your support.
